well located so close to the promenade. The facilities are clean and tidy. The site managers are really helpful. we have been coming here for many years and still look forward returning.

Great first stop in France only 20km from the tunnel

Frustrated as hell about the staff at this site. It was clock changing night and I checked this would not affect the barrier to leave early for the Shuttle. Couldn\'t get out, and there was a queue behind me. Uncaring, inhospitable, fobbed off, staff no where to be seen in the morning. Was late, but they let us on next train. Would not go here again.

Not a bad little site with water on most pitches (screw fit taps) & power close to most pitches. Sandy ground, so any awnings pegged down may be vulnerable to the wind (& it was very windy during our stay in October 2023). Low hedges between pitches.

Wimereux is a pleasant little town with plenty of interesting looking shops & lots of art nouveau buildings. The vets is less than ten minutes walk from the site & the promenade & beach are both pleasant for dog walking.

The site is close to a number of relics from the Second World War, with two museums and a military cemetery nearby. The area is also served well with cycle tracks.

The site is let down by the sanitary facilities which are somewhat dated & unpleasant smelling. No toilet paper or, more importantly, toilet seats. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, a cash deposit is required for the shower fob. Showers are hot.

it was the best start of our summertime journey towards the bretagne

really nice site, great pitches with water at most pitches, short walk to the pleasant town with all the shops and restaurants you could need. very good vets close by.
Dog owners be aware dogs are not allowed on the promenade, which is bizarre, but do what the French do and ignore the rules.
Be aware the showers require a fob, which you get from reception, and required a €50 euro deposit for two, fair enough, but would only accept cash for this.
