Not much shade on most pitches. only stayed 2 nights on route so didn\'t sample food or sports facilities. signs from road overgrown so missed them and sat nav hopeless.

stayed here for a week,as previous reviews the site is a bit unkempt but in fairness to the owners they are trying to do everything themselves.site does a fish n chip night and are very good,communal BBQ,and carvery on sundays.site very English with lots of returners.

Arrived in late May this year and found the campsite already busy. Our pitch was reserved so no problem in setting everything up. Usual friendly welcome from the campsite owners. Campsite neat and tidy with the trees trimmed and looking quite green/in leaf. WIFI working well and bar well stocked, what more could you want.

Always a friendly welcome, good easy to level pitches, free Wi-Fi. Location good for onward travel plus easy to access from Normandy and Brittany coastlines.

Very disappointed. We were told on arrival that the site was a little unkempt because they were having trouble finding a gardener. In fact, the place was over run with weeds and brambles. The pool area was very untidy, the shower/footbath area on entry to the swimming pool was full of weeds, leaves and dirt, the sunbeds were dirty, the pool surround needed a good sweeping, the fence around the pool had weedsgrowing through it. The handrails to the pool were cast in a corner with a pile of dirty sun shade stands, no sunshades were available. We were asked to leave the pool as the owner said he had been visited by the “pool police” and the chemical level was not correct. The outdoor seating areas and BBQ were similarly unkempt. Not being able to find a gardener is no excuse, the owners have had 3 months of lockdown to tidy the place up. Not a good experience at all, no masks worn by staff in reception or in the bar, no hand sanitizer in the public areas. No information or site plan given on arrival. This was his CCA-price not worth.
