Positives - location for us in a caravan with our car was good. Easy drive into Porto (just avoid peak times) and parking was easy. Vila do Conde very close and it was easy to drive to Braga. The local beach is vast and (off-season) was empty. Staff were very friendly.

Negatives - Hot water was hit and miss. Grass pitch was saturated in the rain. Got locked out of site at 8:30pm one evening - had to climb over the fence to try and get staff to open the gate and I got told off like a child!

Handy for visiting Porto. A couple of miles away is a large shopping centre with free parking. Staff were helpful and gave us instructions for using the Metro and a map of Porto
Toilets and showers OK but no toilet paper, hot water in the basins only in the morning and the cleaning staff closed the toilets at the silly time of 9am ish for cleaning.

Nice camp for visiting Porto by train (40min). Perfect and cheap shop and coffee. Very clean facilities and helpful staff.

Good points: Friendly staff, good access to the metro for Porto. Short distance to the beach. Bad points: close to the airport- planes start to arrive/depart at 6am. Dogs barking through the night from the surrounding houses. Pitches are all open - no privacy. No toilet paper, soap or handryers in the toilets.

Chose this site for visiting Porto. Excellent reception on arrival very friendly, very good English and efficient. Showed us to our pitch which easily accommodated our 8m motorhome, it was recommended to book which was easy. Toilet facilities very good plenty of hot water. Motorhome drop off easy to access. Quite a lot of seasonal pitches. Excellent shop with lovely fresh bread. Taxi outside campsite to take you to shopping outlet where you could get the tram to Porto. Restaurants within walking distance so to was the beach. I think the staff were outstanding. We were there out of season.

The worst site we have ever stayed on as it is horrendously overcrowded with vans packed in like a traffic jam in some areas. Only a few feet between vehicles. I doubt if even legal and it didn’t feel safe. Toilets have no paper or soap, and only one with a toilet seat in both men’s and women’s loos. 1 squatter and two with no seats. We were going to stay and visit Porto over a few days but left the next morning. sleep poor due to barking dogs and being under the flight path for the airport.

We arrived intending to stay for two nights, but stayed for five. The campsite is very close to a beautiful beach. The boardwalk on the beach ambles for miles along the coast. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in close proximity, as well as one on site. There is also a shop on site for fresh bread and basics on site. The staff are helpful and friendly. The metro is close (taxi or Uber the 3 miles) which goes straight into Porto. Also a big shopping centre at the Metro.

We have stayed at this site 3 times now as it is convenient to travel to Porto, the staff are really helpful in arranging a taxi to the metro to catch the tram into Porto. The gardens around this campsite are beautiful, the pitches are a good size for the larger vans, it’s a good idea to ring and reserve a pitch as it is always busy. Clean with lots of hot water.

Stayed for 2 nights , lovely green pitch, the campsite has beautiful trees and flowers. The beer in the bar only €2.50 ! The supermarket was great and reception very helpful when advising us on visiting Porto. Lovely site would highly recommend.
