Stayed a couple of nights before our return ferry from Santander. Good location for train into San Sebastian. Location is great for the beach & has a number of eateries close by, walk into town is easy. Had a huge pitch in a quiet location on site.

What a great campsite. We hadn’t intended to end up here but so glad we did. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived, they gave us our pitch number but said we could changed if we preferred another one which we did and let them know.
The on-site bar and restaurant were open and serving food. The pool wasn’t open but looked nice, although the sandy beach is only a couple of minutes walk away if you fancied a swim.
If you need to fill up with water do it on the way in where the taps already have hose’s attached. There are plenty of water taps around the site but the connections are different to the English ones.
The showers and toilets were very clean with hot water in the showers. Beware though, the toilet rolls are situated at the door of the toilets and not each cubicle.
The town of Orio is only a 10-15 minute walk and there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants there.
We took the train from the station just over the river in Orio (about a 20 minute walk from the campsite) into San Sebastián which is a beautiful place to visit with its riverside walk, beach, shops and old town to see. The train journey was about 20 minutes and the train station stop is the end of the line going there.
We stayed 3 nights here and would have stayed longer if we weren’t getting the ferry home but we will definitely return here.

This is a great site and good value. stayed in October 2003. the town is a sort walk and the station about 15mins walk away. caught th train into San Sebastián took about 20mins.
cycle paths into the town with a good tourist information centre. The beach is very close to the entrance of the site and is really nice. Good clean showers and fair sized pitches. restaurant/bar on site but can’t comment on it as didn’t use it. The staff were friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend and will use again.

stayed at this side out of season so swimming. pool wasn\'t open but it\'s right next to the beach. Great facilities for walking, running and cycle. easy to get into Sam Sebastian on train or bus. Orio is a nice little town with all the immediates you would need and a short wall from site. really friendly staff and helpful. food and drink are ok. showers have plenty of hot water toilet really clean would definitely stay again.

Nice stay. Great swum each morning. Very clean. Grand toilet facilities. Green spaces.

Beautiful campsite ,staff extremely friendly ,immaculate sanitary facilities, walking distance to a great beach where there were several restaurants not touristic and could enjoy local community and dancing all this and magnificent mountain scenery .Enjoyed every moment of my stay also took train into San Sabastian a fabulous city.

After moving pitches (first one was too muddy and tucked away at the back of the site) we enjoyed our stay and found the staff very friendly and helpful. A short walk to a small beach and a medium walk into the town, both easily managed and on the flat. We got the train (very prompt service both ways) to Donostia one day and had a lovely time there, a longer walk to the train station as it\'s on the other side of the river, but again all easy to do.

Great campsite with good walking,
beach and easy access on the train to Saint Sebastian. shower and toilet blocks kept clean and little bar and shop run by very friendly staff.
